Just when I was ready to start on my winter to-do project list, I got invited to join fellow Western Kentucky Corvette Club members to participate in a local community’s’ Veteran’s Day 2024 Parade.

Each participating Corvette was privileged to carry a passenger (local essay award-winning students).

My 1975 Corvette convertible was the oldest of the 18 Corvettes from our club that participated, but the car ran great and managed to stay cool during the 45 minutes of idling through the parade route.

The weather was beautiful and the 50-mile roundtrip honoring our American Veterans was a perfect ending to a successful car show season.
